Crystallographic
Computing School
August 18-23, 2005 Siena, Italy
School organizers:
A. Spek, M. Mellini, A. Gualtieri, H. Powell and L. Cranswick
School consultants:
D. Watkin and S. Parsons
A school of Crystallographic Computing will be organized in
the Certosa di Pontignano, in the environs of Siena, a magnificent
historical town in Tuscany which is located at one hour driving
south of Florence. A most generous support to the school is
provided by the University of Siena, which owns the facilities.
Even with a high ratio of speakers to students, the registration
and accommodation costs are kept at a reasonable low level.
The organisation will provide transportation to the XX IUCr
Congress in Florence which starts just when the school is over.
